Maa Ambey Interiors

Maa Ambey Interiors is located over at L-1/124, A, in the Dda Flats at Kalkaji. It is a residential-feeling area, so it does not feel like a cold or corporate office at all. Being in one of the flats means we are right in the middle of where people actually live, which feels right for what we do. The space is filled with fabric swatches, wood samples, and a lot of papers scattered across the tables. It is a bit of a mess sometimes, especially when we are in the middle of a big project, but we know exactly which pile has the info we need. The neighbors are mostly families, so you hear kids playing outside or someone cooking dinner while we are finishing up for the day. It is a cozy setup, and we honestly prefer it that way compared to a big glass building. We spend most of our time on the phone or sketching out ideas on whatever scrap of paper is nearby. Sometimes the doorbell rings and it is just someone looking for directions, but usually, it is a delivery or a client coming to look at samples. We do not have a big sign or anything, just our name on the door like everyone else in the block. It is a modest way to run things, and it keeps us grounded here in Kalkaji. We just focus on the work and let the rest take care of itself.
