Lime Light Candles

Our little shop is tucked away at number 13 in Hauz Khas Village. If you have ever been to the village, you know how the streets are narrow and always buzzing with people walking around. We spend most of our time right here, working with wax and various scents to make our candles. It is not a big factory operation at all. In fact, the shop is quite small, so it usually smells very strong of whatever we are melting down that morning. Sometimes the boxes are stacked so high in the corner that it is hard to move around, but we manage to find what we need. It is just a few of us here, and we do almost everything by hand. We do not have any big machines or a marketing team telling us what to do. Usually, we are just in the back, making sure the wicks are straight and the jars are clean. The electricity in the village can be a bit spotty during the summer months, so we just light a few of our own candles and keep going until the power comes back on. It is a simple way to work, and we like being part of the village life. People often stick their heads in just to see what we are making that day. We don't mind the company at all while we work.
