Karnataka Agro Seeds

The Karnataka Agro Seeds shop is located at Plot No - 524 in Sarav Bihar, which is right in the Jaitpur area of Badarpur. It’s a bit of a crowded neighborhood but most people around here know where we are. We mostly deal with bags of seeds for the farming seasons. The place smells like dried grain and burlap most days, and we spend a lot of time moving heavy sacks from the back to the front. There’s a small desk where we handle the cash and talk to the farmers who come in from the outskirts. It’s not always quiet because of the traffic outside in Badarpur. Sometimes the delivery trucks have a hard time backing into the narrow lane. We don’t have much in the way of decoration, just some old calendars on the wall and piles of inventory. When the sowing season starts, things get very hectic and we barely have time to sit down for lunch. The rest of the year is more about keeping the stock dry and checking that everything is stored properly. We’ve stayed in this same spot for quite some years now. It’s a simple setup. My brother usually handles the loading while I talk to the customers about what they are planting. We aren't big on using fancy computers but we keep good track of what goes out. It gets hot inside during May, so we keep the ceiling fan running all day long. It's just a regular local shop.
