Gajendra Seed Store

You can find us at D-55 in the Okhla Industrial Area, Phase-I. This is a very busy part of Delhi with a lot of warehouses and small factories. Our place is primarily a seed store, though it looks more like a storage unit than a traditional shop. We handle a lot of bags and containers filled with different types of seeds for farming and gardening. The air in here always smells a bit like earth and dried grain. It's a functional space with heavy shelves and a small desk where we keep our records. Being in Phase-I of Okhla means there are trucks coming and going all the time, so it gets pretty noisy. We don't have a big sign with bright lights. Most people who come here are regular buyers who know the address well. We spend a lot of our time moving stock around and making sure everything is labeled correctly so there are no mistakes. It’s hard work, especially when it’s hot outside, but it’s a steady routine. We don't really go in for any promotional talk. It’s just about having the seeds ready when the season starts and people need to plant. The office part of the store is just a corner with a few chairs and a phone that rings quite a bit. We’ve been at this D-55 spot for a long time and we’ve seen the industrial area change around us while we just keep doing our thing.
