This is Maghar Singh Bhajan Singh & Sons, and we operate out of F 171 in Katwaria Sarai. It’s a family business that’s been around for quite a while in New Delhi. My father and my brothers are all involved in the daily work. We grew up in this area, so Katwaria Sarai feels like home to us. The shop is always a bit cluttered with tools and materials, but we know exactly where everything is. It’s a busy place with people coming in and out all day long. We don't really do much marketing. Most of our work comes from people telling their friends about us. We’ve stayed at F 171 because it’s central and our regulars know where to find us. Dealing with the 110017 pin code area means we see a lot of different people. Some days are really loud with the construction nearby, but we just shout over the noise and keep going. We don’t have a HR department or anything like that. If there’s a problem, we sit down and talk it out over some chai. It’s a simple way of living and working. We aren't looking to become a giant company. We just want to do a good job so we can keep the doors open for another generation. It’s hard work, but it’s what we know and what we have always done here in the city.
