J M Ramanna Mandi

We’ve been setting up here at 252 C in Sant Nagar for a while now. It’s right there in East of Kailash, which most people know is a pretty busy part of New Delhi. If you’ve ever walked down our street, you probably saw us without even thinking about it. J M Ramanna Mandi isn't anything fancy, just a regular spot where things get done every day. We open up early because that’s when the work starts, and usually, the tea stall nearby is the only other thing awake. The building itself is just a normal structure, nothing that stands out from the neighbors, but it works for what we need. Sometimes the traffic outside gets a bit loud, especially in the afternoons when everyone is trying to get through Sant Nagar at once. We handle a lot of different things throughout the week and the floors usually have a bit of dust on them by midday. That’s just how a mandi is, I guess. It’s a lot of lifting and moving stuff around, then making sure the paperwork isn't too messy. My desk is tucked in the corner, covered in notes and old receipts that I really should sort through one of these days. People stop by, ask a few questions, and we just get on with it. It’s not a complicated life here, just steady. We’ve seen the neighborhood change a bit over the years, but we’re still right here at the same address.
