Kadimi Dukan

Kadimi Dukan is our shop at Bhogal Central Road, Jungpura 38. We’re right there in the Jungpura area. The name means old shop, and that’s pretty much what we are. Generations of our family have been here, handing things down from father to son. It’s a traditional kind of place. Sweets and snacks are what we sell, the kind you remember from when you were little. The building is old and shows its age, but that's fine with us. It has a lot of history. No big machines are used here, we do most things by hand in the back. It’s a lot of work, waking up before the sun to get everything ready. Bhogal Central Road is always noisy with traffic, but inside the shop, it feels a bit slower. Most of the families in Jungpura are familiar to us. They come to us for festivals or just when they want a treat. Marketing teams don't exist here. We just rely on the fact that people know where we are and like what we make. Sometimes we run out of certain items early in the day because we only make so much. Changing how we do things just to get bigger isn't the plan. Being the local spot at number 38 is what we like. Come visit if you want something authentic. We are usually here until the sun goes down. A few jars are always filled with spice.
