J. J. Foods

You can find J. J. Foods over at E-32/A in the Neb Valley part of Neb Sarai, right near Sainik Farms. It’s a bit of a tucked-away spot, which we actually like. We spend most of our time dealing with food products, so the place usually has some sort of smell lingering, whether it's spices or something else we're moving that day. It’s a lot of lifting and shifting boxes, making sure everything is stored properly so nothing goes to waste. The humidity can be a bit of a pain sometimes, but we manage. We aren't a giant warehouse, just a local place where we handle our inventory. Usually, we're busy checking labels or organizing the delivery schedule for the next morning. It’s steady work. We don't really do much in the way of advertising; people usually find out about us through word of mouth around the neighborhood. Sometimes the delivery van gets stuck in traffic, which throws our whole afternoon off, but that’s just life in this city. We keep a small kitchen area for ourselves where we make tea and take a break when things slow down. It’s not a fancy corporate setup, just a practical space where we can get our work done. We try to keep things tidy, but with all the boxes coming in, there's always a bit of a mess to clear up at the end of the shift. We just take it day by day and get things sorted.
