Our shop and storage are at H-23, Lajpat Nagar-I. It’s a busy part of the city, and the streets are always full of people and vendors. We have a lot of different items squeezed into our space. It’s the kind of place where you might find something interesting hidden under a stack of textiles. We spend our days sorting through new arrivals and checking the quality of what comes in. It’s not a polished retail store with glass cases. It’s more of a working warehouse where things are moving in and out all the time. The walls are covered in shelves, and sometimes it feels like the ceiling is getting closer with all the stock we have. We have a few people who help with the packing because everything is fragile and needs a lot of bubble wrap. Sometimes the tea man comes by and we take a quick break. The lighting isn't the best, but we know where everything is kept. It gets a bit dusty because of the fabrics and the street outside. We don’t have a website that’s updated every day or anything like that. We just deal with the people who come in and the orders we have to send out. It’s a lot of manual work, lifting boxes and counting stock, but it keeps us on our toes and the days go by pretty fast when we're busy like this.
