Hemkunt General Store

Hemkunt General Store is located at number 57 in Sant Nagar, right near the Iskon Temple in East Kailash. Since we are so close to the temple, we get a lot of visitors and devotees stopping by. We carry a mix of things, from basic groceries to items people might need for their prayers. The shop isn't very big, but we try to use every inch of space we have. You might find incense sticks right next to the biscuits. It’s a bit of a squeeze inside when it’s busy. We’ve been here in this part of Delhi for quite a while. The traffic outside can be quite loud and messy, but inside we just focus on serving whoever walks in. We don't do any marketing or have a logo. Most people just know us by the name on the board outside. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we have to use candles, but that's just part of life here. We handle the cash and the inventory ourselves. It’s a simple business without any corporate rules. We just open the shop in the morning and close it when it’s late enough. Our customers are mostly locals from Sant Nagar who have been buying from us for years. It’s a steady routine that we have grown to appreciate over time.
