Har Crafts

Lajpat Nagar-I is a crowded place. At F-122, it's just us doing what we do. We started small. There's a lot of noise outside. We spend most of our time at the back tables. Sometimes the power goes out. We just keep going. Har Crafts isn't a big factory or anything. It’s just a spot where things get made by hand. We’ve been here for a while now. The walls need a bit of paint but that doesn't stop the work. People stop by sometimes asking for directions, and we show them the way. My uncle used to say that a workshop should smell like the materials you use, and ours definitely does. It’s mostly wood and glue smells here. We don't have a big sign out front, just the address and the name. Most people find us through word of mouth. The tea guy comes at eleven every morning, and that’s when we take a break. It’s not fancy. The floor is covered in scraps by the end of the day. We sweep up before heading home. It’s a quiet kind of life inside even if the street is loud. We handle everything ourselves. If a machine breaks, we fix it. It takes a lot of patience to get things right, but we aren't in a rush. Just a regular day at F-122, really. We turn off the lights and head out once the sun sets.
