Our office and production space is located at 133, Saidullajab Westend Marg. It’s an interesting spot because Westend Marg has a mix of different types of businesses all crammed together. We spend our time working on different food products, mostly sauces and other things that go into jars. The smell of vinegar or spices is usually pretty strong as soon as you walk in. We have a small team that handles everything from checking the ingredients to making sure the labels are stuck on straight. It’s not a huge factory, more like a large kitchen setup that’s been expanded over time. We deal with a lot of suppliers who bring in crates of fresh produce, and sometimes the driveway gets blocked with all the loading going on. The floors are usually a bit wet from the cleaning we do between batches. We don’t have a big reception area, so visitors usually just walk right into where the action is. It’s a lot of manual labor, lifting heavy pots and moving crates around. We try to keep things moving as fast as we can, but some days are slower than others. It’s just a group of people making food in a busy part of Delhi. There isn't anything glamorous about it, but we stay busy and get the orders out.
