Euro Garden

Euro Garden is tucked away on the ground floor of H-82 in Kalkaji. Being on the ground floor is actually pretty handy because we don’t have to deal with elevators or carrying things up long flights of stairs. Kalkaji is one of those neighborhoods where every building looks a bit like the one next to it, so you have to keep an eye out for the house number. We have a small space here, and it’s usually filled with the sound of the doorbell or someone walking past the front window. Since we are Euro Garden, we deal with things related to the outdoors, but the office itself is quite indoor-focused with a lot of catalogs and price lists scattered around. The light isn't the best because of how the buildings are squeezed together, but it stays cool in the heat. It’s a very local feel here. We know the neighbors and the guys at the tea stall down the street. It’s not a corporate park; it’s just a residential-turned-commercial street where we do our business. Sometimes the power goes out for a bit, so we just sit and talk until it comes back on. It’s a simple way of working. We don't have a big reception desk or anyone to greet you; you just walk in and someone will be there at a desk usually buried under some folders or a lunch box.
