Ess Enn Enterprises

You can find Ess Enn Enterprises at C-63 in Okhla Industries Area, Phase -1. It’s an industrial neighborhood, so there’s always a lot of dust and the sound of metal clanging. Our building is a simple concrete structure. We’ve been here quite a while. Inside, it’s mostly open space with some partitions for the office staff. We have a small yard in the back where we keep some of the scrap and old pallets. It gets very hot in the summer, and the tin roof doesn't help much, even with the big fans blowing. We have about ten people working here, mostly locals who walk or take the bus. We handle different kinds of supplies and orders, so every day is a bit different. One day we are counting stock, and the next we are arguing with a truck driver about where to park. We drink our coffee from stained mugs and eat biscuits during the afternoon slump. It’s not a place where you’d see a lot of tourists or fancy cars. The walls are covered in old calendars and some safety posters that are peeling off. We just focus on getting the daily list done so we can close up the gate by six. It’s a bit of a grind, but it’s honest work and we’ve got a good rhythm going now. We keep the machines oiled and try to avoid any major breakdowns.
