Ecomax

Ecomax is located on the second floor of a building in Greater Kailash-2, specifically at E-335. Being in GK-2 means we are in a nice part of Delhi, but the office itself is just a regular workspace. You have to climb the stairs to the second floor, which is a bit of exercise we all probably need anyway. The rooms are filled with desks and a few plants that we sometimes forget to water. It’s not one of those shiny corporate offices you see in Gurgaon; it’s more grounded and a bit lived-in. We spend our hours here working through projects, and the atmosphere is pretty relaxed. We don’t wear suits or anything like that. Most of the time, the biggest distraction is deciding where to order lunch from since there are so many options nearby. The street outside is usually lined with cars, and you can hear the birds in the trees when the traffic dies down for a bit. We’ve got some big windows that let in the Delhi sun, which is great in the winter but means we keep the curtains closed during those hot June afternoons. We don’t have a mission statement on the wall or a big logo at the entrance. It’s just a place where we come to get things done. We’ve been here for a while and the walls are starting to need a new coat of paint, but it feels like home to us. It’s just a small group of us trying to keep everything moving along.
