Our office for Durian Industries Pvt. Ltd. is tucked away at B-25 in Lajpat Nagar-Ii. If you know this area, you know how packed it gets with shoppers and cars everywhere. We occupy a decent space here where we manage the local operations and show some of our products to people who drop by. It is not a very formal place. You might see some of us moving furniture around or checking the finish on a laminate sample while someone else is trying to eat lunch in the corner. We have a lot of samples lying around, so the place can look a bit cluttered at times. It is just the way we work. The team here is pretty relaxed and we don't really go for that high-pressure corporate environment. We prefer to just chat with people and show them what we have in stock. The lighting in the back could be better, but it works for what we need. Dealing with the parking around Lajpat Nagar is probably the hardest part of our day. Inside, we just focus on the orders and making sure the inventory matches up with what the warehouse says. It is a straightforward job and we have a good mix of young and old staff members who help each other out when things get a bit hectic during the festival seasons or busy months.
