Devyani International Ltd. has an office on the 2nd Floor of 132, Hari Nagar Ashram in Delhi. Ashram is one of the most crowded places you can find in the city, and being on the second floor means we get to hear all the honking from the flyover all day long. We aren't a big flashy headquarters; this is just a regular office where we handle the day-to-day things for our food business. It’s a lot of meetings about supply chains and making sure the outlets have what they need. The office has that typical Delhi feel, with files piled up and people constantly moving between desks. We don't have a big receptionist or a fancy waiting lounge. If you come by, you just walk up the stairs and find someone at a desk. The area around Hari Nagar is always packed, so getting lunch nearby is easy, though it’s always a struggle to find a parking spot. We have a small pantry where we make our own tea, and that’s where most of the real talk happens. It’s a busy life here, and we don’t spend much time worrying about how the office looks to outsiders. We just focus on the numbers and the logistics of the food industry. It’s a bit chaotic at times, but that is just the way things are in this part of Delhi. We just do our bit every day.
