D & G Imports & Exports

Panchsheel Enclave is a bit of a quieter neighborhood, which is nice for our office at A-1/64. D & G Imports & Exports is where we manage all the different items coming in and going out of the country. It’s a lot of paperwork and dealing with customs agents, which can be a real headache sometimes. The office isn't very large, just a few desks and some filing cabinets filled with shipping documents. We spend most of our time staring at computer screens and tracking containers across the ocean. It can be stressful when a shipment gets stuck at the port, and we have to spend hours on the phone trying to clear it up. We drink a lot of coffee to keep going, especially when we have to talk to people in different time zones late at night. There are no fancy decorations on the walls, just a few calendars and a map or two. It’s a practical space for a practical business. We don't have a big staff, so everyone ends up doing a bit of everything, from answering the door to filing taxes. The area outside is mostly residential, so it’s a bit of a walk to find a good place for lunch. We usually just bring something from home. It’s a quiet, steady kind of life, just making sure goods move from one place to another without too much trouble. We don't have a lot of excitement here, but we are fine with that. It's just about doing the work and heading home.
