Cusines & Concepts

Being over here at D-810 in Friends Colony is quite different from being in the crowded main markets. It’s a bit more tucked away, which we mostly like. Cusines & Concepts has been operating from this address for a while now. We spend a lot of time thinking about what to put on the menu and how to get things just right. It is not always easy, though. Some days the kitchen feels too small and other days it feels like we have everything under control. We handle a lot of different orders throughout the week. The neighborhood is mostly houses, so it’s a bit calmer outside our doors. We are usually busy with something or other, whether it’s prepping ingredients or sorting out deliveries. It’s just us working here, trying to make sure the food is decent and goes out on time. Sometimes the phone doesn't stop ringing and sometimes it’s dead silent for hours. We don’t really do much advertising. People usually just find us because they live nearby or heard about the place from someone else. D-810 isn't hard to find if you know the area. We have our routines and we stick to them. It’s just a regular business trying to stay afloat and keep things moving in Friends Colony. There is always a lot of cleaning to do at the end of the shift. We just get on with it every day.
