We are located at 2028 in Kotla Mubarak Pur, which is a tight squeeze if you’re driving anything bigger than a scooter. Being so close to Tyagraj Stadium means we get a lot of people passing through the general area, but our street is its own little world. It’s a bit of a maze back here. Our space is filled with all sorts of things we’re working on. There’s usually some scrap material on the floor and tools left out on the benches. It’s not a showroom; it’s where we actually do the work. The lighting isn't the best, so we use a lot of desk lamps to see what we’re doing. Sometimes the neighbors come in just to see what’s new or to chat for a bit. We don't have a receptionist or anything like that. If the bell rings, whoever is closest to the door goes to see who it is. The walls are covered in sketches and notes we’ve pinned up over the months. It’s a bit cluttered, sure, but we know where everything is. On rainy days, the ceiling leaks a tiny bit near the back, so we have to move the boxes around and put out a bucket. It’s just one of those things you deal with when you’ve been in an old building for a while. We stay late most nights, working under the yellow light until the street finally gets quiet.
