Cottage Industries Exposition Ltd

Over in Lado Sarai at F-21, we share a bit of space with Somveer Singh. It’s a cozy setup for Cottage Industries Exposition Ltd in this part of New Delhi. Lado Sarai has a lot of character, and our little spot fits right in. We don't have a giant storefront or anything. It’s more of a place where we keep our specialty items and handle a lot of the local coordination. The walls are lined with samples and there’s usually a pot of tea going somewhere. We get visitors who are looking for something specific, like a particular weave or a certain type of stone carving. We aren't big on sales pitches. If you like something, you can see the work that went into it yourself. The floorboards creak a little and we sometimes run out of space on the shelves, so we use the tables too. It’s just the way it goes when you’re dealing with handmade goods that come in all shapes and sizes. I usually spend my morning answering emails and the afternoon checking the new arrivals. We try to be helpful without being pushy. It’s a simple operation, run by people who actually care about the things we sell. We aren't trying to be the biggest company, just a reliable place where you can find real Indian handicrafts without any fuss. It’s quiet and personal, and that’s just how we like to run the place.
