Comesum

If you ever go to the Saraye Kale Khan station or the Nizamuddin area, you have probably seen Comesum. We are right there where all the travelers are. It is a very busy place because of the trains coming and going at all hours. We stay open because people are always hungry when they get off a long ride. The air is always full of the smell of food and the sound of announcements from the railway station. We don't have much time for sitting around. Our staff is always on their feet, packing boxes of food or serving plates of hot meals. It gets really crowded during the holidays when everyone is traveling back to their villages. We just try to keep the line moving so nobody misses their train. It is a bit chaotic sometimes but we are used to it by now. The kitchen is always going and we have to keep an eye on the clock. We see people from all over India passing through. Some are tired and some are excited for their trip. We just give them their food and let them get on their way. Saraye Kale Khan is a rough and tumble place but it has a lot of energy. We've been part of this landscape for a while. It's just how things are here, fast and constant. We don't use fancy words to describe what we do, we just cook.
