Bhavani Nav Durga Agro Foods

We run Bhavani Nav Durga Agro Foods from 274, Capt. Gaur Marg in Sriniwaspuri. It’s a busy street with plenty of people walking by and cars honking at all hours. Our place is basically a warehouse with a small office partitioned off in the corner. We deal with a lot of grains, flours, and other agricultural products, so there’s always a fine dusting of flour on everything, no matter how much we sweep. The air usually smells like dried grain and burlap bags. Most of our day is spent loading and unloading trucks that pull up right in front. It’s heavy work, and we all pitch in when a big load comes in. We don't have a big sign or any fancy lights. Most people in the neighborhood just know us as the agro place on the corner. We keep our records in big ledgers and on an old computer that takes its time to start up. When the weather is nice, we leave the big front doors open to get a breeze through the place. It’s a very manual business. We spend a lot of time checking the bags and making sure nothing has gotten damp. We don't go in for fancy talk or corporate strategy. We just focus on the food products we handle and making sure the counts are right at the end of every day. It’s honest, tiring work, but it keeps us busy and the day goes fast.
