Bharti Creation

Bharti Creation is tucked away in Shop no-100a, near the DDA flats in Shahpur Jat. If you know Delhi, you know how Shahpur Jat is—lots of narrow lanes, designers everywhere, and a lot of creative energy. Our shop is just a small part of that. We’ve been here in this specific spot for a good while. It can be hard to find us if it's your first time because the numbering in these DDA areas is a bit confusing, but once you find the shop, it’s pretty cozy. We spend most of our time working on the machines or talking to people about what they need. It’s not a polished showroom; it’s more of a workspace where things actually get made. We have rolls of cloth and thread everywhere. Sometimes we sit out front for a bit of fresh air when it’s not too hot. The local chai wallah knows exactly how we like our tea by now. We don't really go for all those big slogans or fancy promises. We just tell people what we can do and how long it will take. It’s a bit cramped inside sometimes, especially when we have a lot of stuff ready to go out, but it works for us. Working in Shahpur Jat means there is always someone interesting walking by or dropping in to see what we are up to today. We just stay busy with the needle and thread and keep going until evening.
