We are tucked away in Sarai Jullena, which is right by New Friends Colony. The shop is at number 85, and it is a place where we do a lot of sewing and fitting. There are piles of fabric everywhere—silk, cotton, and stuff we haven't even categorized yet. You can usually hear the hum of the sewing machines from the sidewalk. We have a couple of tailors who have been with us for years, and they can fix just about anything with a needle and thread. It is not a fancy showroom with mannequins in the window. Instead, it is more of a workshop where people come to get their clothes sorted out. We spend a lot of time measuring and marking fabric with chalk. Sometimes it gets a bit crowded when a few customers come in at once, but we just ask them to wait a minute on the wooden bench. The lighting is not the best, but we know where everything is. We do not do any big marketing; people just know we are here because their neighbors told them. We work from the morning until the sun goes down, often with a radio playing softly in the background. It is just us doing our craft and making sure the seams are straight before anything leaves the shop. We try to keep things organized but it is a busy little place.
