Batra General Store

Batra General Store is a small, local shop at C-41 in Hauz Khas, Delhi. We are located right near the Hauz Khas Police Station. This part of Delhi has some very fancy areas, but our shop is just a regular place for the local residents to get their daily essentials. We keep things like milk, bread, eggs, and various household supplies. The shop is quite compact, and every inch of shelf space is used up. We have been in this location for a long time, and we know most of the people who live in the surrounding blocks. It is a very personal way of doing business. We do not have a big team of workers, just ourselves and a helper who has been with the family for years. We do not use any complicated technology. We just know our stock and we know our prices. Sometimes the delivery trucks have a hard time finding parking near the police station, so we have to carry the crates ourselves. It is a bit of hard work, but we do not mind. We do not do any big promotions or sales. We just offer the basic goods at a fair price. It is an honest living in a busy city. We enjoy being a part of the Hauz Khas community and seeing the same friendly faces every single morning.
