Bansal Bhandar

Bansal Bhandar is located at S-38/1 in the Green Park Main Market. If you know this part of Delhi, you know how the market gets on the weekends. It is pretty much non-stop. We have been sitting here in this spot for years, watching the neighborhood change around us. People come in for their daily bits and pieces, maybe a few things for the kitchen or just to see what is new on the shelves. It’s a small space, so we have to stack things high sometimes. You get used to the narrow aisles after a while. Most of our customers are locals who live just a few streets away. They drop in while they are out for a walk or heading home from work. We don't have a big team or anything, just a couple of us making sure everything is where it should be. Sometimes we run out of things, but we try to get them back in as soon as the truck arrives. Green Park is a good place to be, even if the parking around the market can be a real headache some days. We just keep our heads down and do the work. It is not always easy, but it is what we know. We see the same people every week and it feels like a small community inside the big city. No bells and whistles here, just a shop that stays open until late.
