Azure Cafe & Kitchen

Azure Cafe & Kitchen is right here in the middle of Hauz Khas Village, specifically at 14-17. It gets pretty loud around here sometimes, but we just keep doing what we do. The kitchen isn't huge, but we make it work every day. Usually, it starts early with prep, getting everything ready before the village wakes up properly. Sometimes the pipes act up or the lights flicker, but that’s just how these old buildings are. We’ve been at this address for a bit now. People walk by, some stop in because they’re hungry or just want to sit for a minute. It’s not fancy or anything. Just some tables and chairs and us cooking whatever is on the menu that day. We try to keep things clean and tidy, though it's a constant battle with all the foot traffic outside. You know how HKV gets on the weekends. It’s a lot of work running a place like this. My hands are usually stained with something or other by the time we close up. We don’t really have a big story. We just opened up because we wanted a spot of our own in this part of town. It’s nice seeing the same faces coming back. It makes the long hours feel okay. We’re just a small team trying to keep the stove going and the food moving.
