Avis Exports

Avis Exports is located at D-9 in the Jangpura Extension. It’s a nice enough area, a bit more residential than some of the other places we’ve worked out of. Our office is in a building that looks like most of the others on the street. We do a lot of exporting, so there are always boxes stacked up near the door and rolls of tape lying around. It’s not the biggest space, but we’ve managed to fit everything we need into it. The staff here is small—just a handful of us who handle everything from the orders to the shipping labels. We spend a lot of time on the phone or tucked behind our screens. Jangpura has a good feel to it; we usually go out for tea at the corner stall in the afternoons. It’s a good way to clear our heads. We aren't a big corporate firm with a thousand employees. We’re just a small business trying to make sure our clients get what they ordered on time. Sometimes the paperwork gets a bit overwhelming, especially with all the export rules, but we just take it one page at a time. The neighbors are friendly, and it’s a relatively quiet place to get work done. We’ve been here for a while and don't plan on moving anytime soon. It’s a simple setup that works for us and the way we like to do things.
