Atmaram Ji Ki Dukaan

Atmaram Ji Ki Dukaan is located at 248 in the Main Market of Badarpur, Delhi. It is a typical local shop where we keep a bit of everything for the home. The Main Market is a very busy place with a lot of people from the 110044 area coming through every day to do their shopping. The shop name is just what people call it, and it has stayed that way for a long time. Being in Delhi, we have to deal with the noise and the pollution from the main roads, but inside the shop, it is just about the goods on the shelves. We sell things like soaps, detergents, spices, and other household necessities. The shop at 248 is not very large, so we have to use every inch of the walls to hang packets and store containers. It gets quite crowded in the mornings when people are buying things for their breakfast or lunch. We don't have any fancy marketing or anything like that to show off. We just open the shop, sweep the floor, and wait for the regulars to show up. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to sit in the dark for a bit, but the customers are used to it and don't mind. It is a very grounded, local life. Most of the people who come here are our neighbors, and we often end up chatting about the news or the weather while they shop. We just try to keep things simple.
