Ashwani Food Plaza Restaurant

Ashwani Food Plaza Restaurant is down in Kilokari, right at A-206/3 Maharani Bagh Jiwan Nagar. It’s a busy spot most days. We start early getting the kitchen ready before the sun gets too high. The street outside is usually full of people moving around, and we just try to keep up with everyone who stops by. There isn’t much to the place, just some tables and the smell of whatever is cooking that morning. We’ve been at this address for a while now, seeing the neighborhood change bit by bit. Sometimes the old fan in the corner rattles a lot, but it helps with the heat. People come in from the Jiwan Nagar side mostly. We don’t have fancy menus or anything like that. It’s just food on plates and chairs for people to sit on. The staff here has been around long enough to know the regular faces. We spend a lot of time cleaning the counters and making sure the supplies are tucked away in the back. It gets pretty loud during lunch when everyone is in a hurry and shouting their orders. You can find us right there in the middle of the block. It’s not a big plaza like the name might make you think, but it’s our space. We just keep the lights on and do what needs doing every day. If you walk past the Jiwan Nagar area, you’ll see the sign hanging out front. We keep some water jars near the door too.
