Ashrae India Chapter

Our office is located in the basement of K-43 in Kailash Colony. It’s a bit of a quiet spot, which is nice for getting things done. Ashrae India Chapter has been using this space for a while now. Being in a basement means it stays a bit cooler than the street level, which we appreciate. We spend our days organizing events and keeping track of all the paperwork that comes with a professional group. It’s not a retail shop, so we don't get a lot of walk-in traffic, mostly just members or people we are working with. The office is full of books, guides, and old files from over the years. We try to keep things tidy, but it's hard when you have so much going on. We have a few people who handle the daily tasks and make sure everything is running. It's a lot of emails and phone calls. We aren't a big corporation, just a group of people interested in engineering and climate stuff. We often have meetings around the main table where we plan out what’s coming next. It’s a practical workspace without any unnecessary frills. Kailash Colony is a good area to be in, with plenty of places nearby to grab a quick snack. We just come in, do our bit for the chapter, and handle the administrative side of things. It’s a steady pace and we’re happy with it. It’s just how we do things here.
