Ashirwad Stores

We have been here at M-9 in the Greater Kailash 2 shopping centre for quite some years now. It is a busy market and our spot in the M Block area stays pretty active from morning until we close up at night. Dealing with the daily rush in Delhi is just part of the job. Most of the people who come in live right around the corner or in the nearby blocks. We try to keep the shelves filled with the usual stuff everyone asks for. It is not a very large place, so things can get a bit cramped when several customers are inside at once. You might have to squeeze past a crate or two. We just do our work and try to remember what our regulars like. Sometimes the delivery truck is late or we run out of something popular, but that is how it goes with a small local shop. Being in GK2 means we see a lot of the same faces every week. It feels good when someone stops to chat while they are picking up their bags. We don't have a fancy website or anything like that. We are just here at the store every day. If you are walking through the market, you will find us easily enough. We keep the doors open and just get on with the day's tasks. It is simple work, but it keeps us busy.
