Arjun Pandit Kirana Store

Arjun Pandit Kirana Store is right here in Katwaria Sarai, at F-116. It’s a typical neighborhood shop where we sell pulses, rice, soap, and all the daily stuff people need for their homes. My name is on the sign, and I’m usually the one sitting behind the counter from early morning until late at night. The store is packed with sacks of grain and rows of biscuits and snacks. It can get a bit messy during the morning rush when everyone wants their milk and bread at the same time. We know most of our customers by name because they live just a few houses away in the same lane. Sometimes kids come in for a single piece of candy after school. It’s a small business but it keeps us very busy. Khel Gaon is a nice area, and we’ve seen families grow up over the years here. We don't have a computer system, just a thick notebook where we write things down by hand. Sometimes we run out of change and have to ask the customer to pay us back the next time they come in. That’s just how it works in a small place like this. The shelves are a bit dusty sometimes, and the lights flicker, but we keep the stock fresh and moving. It's a simple life. We just want to make sure the neighbors have what they need for their kitchens every day. We also sell some snacks and cold drinks for the students who pass by.
