Ap General Store

Our shop, Ap General Store, is located right at G 455 in Gali No 20, near the Badarpur Border. It is quite easy to find because we are close to the SBI ATM on Tajpur Road. This area is always moving, with a lot of people passing through to get to the border. The shop stays open pretty late most nights because that is when people are coming back from their shifts. We keep everything from small sachets of shampoo to big bags of cattle feed sometimes, depending on what the locals are asking for. It is a bit of a tight squeeze inside with all the boxes, but we know where every single item is kept. The dust from the road is a constant battle, so we are always dusting the jars and packets. My nephew usually sits at the counter in the afternoons. We do not really have a big staff, just family members looking after things. We focus on having the things people actually need every day, like tea leaves, matches, and milk. It gets really crowded on the weekends when everyone is doing their big shopping. We do not have any fancy lighting or big posters. It is just a plain general store serving the people living in this part of Delhi. We appreciate the people who have been buying from us since we first opened the doors here near the alleyway. It is a busy life but we enjoy the daily routine at the border.
