Ankit Momos Corner

I started this place in Badarpur Harsh Vihar at F-179 because there weren't many good spots for a quick snack nearby. I'm usually here every day making sure the steamer is going and the red chutney is ready for the evening rush. It gets pretty crowded around 6 PM when people get off work, so sometimes the wait is a bit long but we try to keep things moving as fast as we can. We just have a small corner setup. It isn't fancy at all. Most people just stand and eat right there on the street or take a packet home for their family in a plastic bag. I’ve lived in this area for a long time so I know most of the faces that come by every day. Sometimes the weather makes it hard, especially when it rains and the street gets muddy, but we stay open as long as the gas lasts. My younger brother helps me out with the chopping and cleaning the dishes. We go through a lot of flour and fresh vegetables every single day to keep things moving. It's hard work being on your feet for ten hours, but it keeps us busy. If you are walking around Harsh Vihar, you’ll see us near the F-179 block. We don't have a big sign, just the smell of the food usually brings people in. We keep the benches clean enough for a quick sit.
