Amgros Mart (Opc) Private Limited is located at Plot No. 15 on Benad Road in Govind Nagar - 6. It’s a straightforward setup. We have a sign outside so people know it’s a mart. Most of the work involves carrying crates and making sure the prices are marked correctly on the items. We deal with a lot of different vendors who drop off goods throughout the week. Sometimes three of them show up at once and the whole front of the shop gets blocked. We just work through it. Benad Road can get quite dusty, so we are always wiping down the jars and packets. It’s an OPC, so I handle most of the big decisions myself, but my brother helps with the heavy lifting and the night shift. We don't have any corporate slogans or big promises. We just have the stuff you need for your kitchen and your house. The lighting is just simple tubes on the ceiling. We have a small fridge for curd and milk. People from Govind Nagar come in mainly for their daily needs. We know who likes which brand of tea. It’s not a complicated business. We just open up, sell what we have, and then lock up for the night. We keep a calendar on the wall to track the deliveries. It’s a practical place for practical people and we stay busy.
