Al Mas Food International

Our place is at R-67 on Sir Syed Road. It’s right in the Batla House area, Joga Bai Extension. Al Mas Food International is where we handle a lot of different food products. It’s a lively neighborhood. There’s always someone walking by or a bike zooming past. Inside, it’s all about the food. We spend a lot of time checking bags and making sure everything is packed right. We deal with international stuff, so there’s always a lot of labels and stamps to worry about. It gets pretty hectic during the middle of the week. We aren't a giant factory. It’s more of a hands-on type of place. We know the suppliers and we know what people are looking for. Sometimes the electricity goes out for a bit, and we just wait it out. That’s just life in the extension. We have a few guys who have been here for years. They know exactly how everything should be stacked and stored. It’s not a polished showroom. It’s a working warehouse and office. We keep it clean and organized the best we can. It’s a lot of physical work, moving things around and checking inventory. We just do our thing and try to get the orders out on time. It’s what we know. We aren't doing anything flashy, just the daily grind. Making sure the containers are ready is what keeps us busy from morning till night.
