Aisha Impex

Aisha Impex is located at A-152 in Lajpat Nagar-I. It is a typical spot for this part of Delhi, meaning it’s a bit cramped and there is always something happening right outside. We deal with impex work, which basically means we are always looking at shipping schedules and customs documents. The office is small and filled with desks that are probably too big for the room, so we are always bumping into each other. We have a lot of folders and binders full of old receipts and import papers because we like to keep a physical copy of everything just in case. The street noise is constant, with rickshaws and people talking, but it becomes like background music after a while. We drink a lot of chai throughout the day to keep our energy up. There isn't anything particularly special about our setup; it’s just a place where we come to work and handle our business. Some days the internet works great and other days we have to use our phone hotspots to get anything sent. We don't spend money on fancy furniture or decorations because we'd rather just focus on the actual work. It’s a simple operation and we like it that way. We just keep track of the goods and make sure things move from point A to point B without getting stuck too long on the way.
