Aap Ki Rasoi

Aap Ki Rasoi is a small place located in the DDA Flats in East of Kailash, Delhi. We are at B 84, in a double storey building. It is quite easy to find us because we are near the ISKCON Temple. This is a residential neighborhood, so it feels very different from the main market areas. We started this kitchen because we wanted to cook the kind of food we eat at home. It’s not a big restaurant with a lot of staff. Most of the time, it’s just a couple of us in the kitchen and someone helping with the deliveries. We have a few tables if people want to sit down and eat, but it’s a tight squeeze. The area can get very crowded, especially on days when the temple has a lot of visitors. Parking is always a bit of a struggle around here. We use regular ingredients that we buy from the local market. We don't have a fancy menu or anything. It’s just the same stuff we’ve been making for years. The walls are a bit plain and we don't have much for decoration. We just focus on the cooking and getting the orders out on time to the neighbors. You can hear the sounds of the flats all around us while we work.
