A. B. Creation

You can find A. B. Creation over at B-21 in Amar Colony, which is part of Lajpat Nagar-IV. If you know the area, you know it gets pretty crowded, especially on the weekends. Our workspace is usually full of bits of fabric and different tools. It’s not the tidiest place, but we know where everything is. We started out here because it was close to where we lived, and we just stayed. The neighbors are mostly other small businesses, so there’s always someone to chat with during a tea break. We don't have a fancy showroom with bright lights. It’s more of a workshop feel where the actual work happens. Sometimes the power goes out for a bit, but that’s just life in Delhi. We spend our days cutting, measuring, and putting things together. It’s a lot of manual work and sometimes our hands get tired, but that’s the job. People come in looking for specific things, and we see what we can do. We keep a small staff, mostly just folks from the nearby area who know their way around a sewing machine or a workbench. It’s a simple life at Amar Colony. We open up in the morning, do the work, and close the shutters when the sun goes down. Nothing more, nothing less. We don't have a big marketing plan, we just focus on the pieces we're making today and make sure they're finished before the deadline.
