So, we are actually working out of the Ch. Devilal Co-Op Sugar Mill in Ahulana. It’s located in the Gohana area of Sonepat. Deepak Kumar, whose father is Silak Ram, works here as a first-class fitter. Even though we are part of the Hisar branch of Jindal Stainless Ltd, this is where we spend our time. The mill is a busy place, especially when the crushing season starts. You can always smell the sugar in the air around here. We handle the stainless steel side of things for the equipment and whatever else is needed. It’s not a fancy office at all. It’s more of a workshop where things get dirty and tools are always lying around. We have the 131301 pin code for our mail. The work is physically demanding, but the guys are used to it. We don't have any big corporate meetings; we just talk over tea about what needs to be fixed. It's a very practical way to work. Being based at the sugar mill keeps us grounded. We don't wear suits or use big words. We just make sure the fittings are right and the steel is where it belongs. It’s a small team and we’ve been at it for a long time. People around Gohana know us as the stainless steel guys from the mill. We just get on with it every day. It is a good, honest way to earn a living in this part of Haryana.
