Bala Ji Steels

Bala Ji Steels is situated right on Delhi Road. You can’t really miss us because we are directly opposite KLP College. Having the college right there means there are always students and buses moving around outside the gates. Our business is focused on steel supply. We’ve been here for a good while, and Delhi Road is a great spot because it’s a main artery for transport in the area. We get a lot of trucks coming through. The shop itself is pretty basic and functional. We have our stacks of steel and a small desk where we handle the bills and talk to visitors. It’s a lot of manual work. We load and unload stuff throughout the day. Sometimes the dust from the road gets into everything, so we are always cleaning off the surfaces and our hands. We don't have any corporate slogans or anything like that. We are just a local shop trying to provide materials for construction and fabrication projects. We know many of the contractors who work on the buildings along Delhi Road. It’s a decent living for us. We start early in the morning before the traffic gets too heavy and the sun gets too hot. Most of our day is spent checking the weight of loads and making sure the inventory matches our notes in the book. It’s not glamorous work, but it is honest and keeps us busy. We like the location because it’s easy for our suppliers to find us without trouble.
