Fiem Industries Ltd. is located at Plot No. 1915 in the Rai Industrial Estate, Phase V. Rai is a huge industrial hub. It’s quite a long way from any main city center, so it feels like its own world out here. Phase V is one of the newer sections, but it's still got that busy, industrial feel. The plot is quite big. We have a lot of space for our production lines and storage. We make parts for the automotive industry. It’s mostly plastic and metal components. The facility is always humming with the sound of machinery. It’s a 24-hour operation sometimes, depending on the load. We have a lot of workers who come in on buses or their own bikes. The canteen is the main gathering spot. We don't really do the whole corporate office thing. Most of the management spends their time on the shop floor anyway. It’s dusty outside and noisy inside, but that’s manufacturing for you. We’ve been part of the Rai community for a while now. You get to know the other business owners and the local suppliers. It’s a practical place. We focus on high volume and keeping the quality steady. There’s no room for fluff when you’re dealing with these kinds of production schedules. We just keep our heads down and do the work we’re supposed to do. It's a steady life for us here in the estate.
