Our place is Unit- 1 in Village Hasamabad, near the Bahalgarh post office. It’s a bit out of the way compared to the big city offices, but we like it that way. At Meneta Automotive Components Pvt. Ltd., we make parts for cars, mostly things to do with brakes and shims. It’s a lot of metal work and stamping machines. The air in the factory has that specific metallic smell. We have workers from the local villages and some who come from further away. It’s a hardworking environment. We don’t have a lot of fancy decorations in the office. It’s mostly just desks, filing cabinets, and some old calendars on the walls. The road out here can get pretty muddy when it rains, making it a bit of a chore to get to work. But once you’re inside, it’s all about meeting the production numbers. We don’t spend time on long speeches or polished presentations. We just make sure the parts are cut right and packed up for shipping. Sometimes the delivery trucks get stuck or there’s a delay with the raw materials, but we just deal with it as it comes. It’s an honest living and we take some pride in knowing our parts are out there on the road. We’ve been a part of this village landscape for a good while now. We just keep the presses running and make sure everything is sorted before the shift ends.
