U S Bhosale Farmer Producer Company Limited is situated in Pimpalgaonpeth, which is near Sillod. We use Vishwanath Vyahare’s place as our main point of contact. It’s a pretty simple arrangement. We don’t have any fancy marketing people or a big corporate strategy. We’re just a bunch of guys who grow things and wanted to see if we could make a bit more money by working as a group. Sillod can be a tough place to farm depending on the year. We spend a lot of time talking about the monsoon and if it’s going to be enough for the crops. When the harvest comes, things get really chaotic around here. There are tractors and trucks moving all over the place. Vishwanath tries to keep the records straight, which isn't easy when everyone is in a hurry. The office is just a plain room with a table and a few benches. We don't have a receptionist or anything like that. If you come by, you’ll probably find someone sorting through samples or just chatting about the price of fuel. It’s a very local business, and we only really care about what’s happening in our own fields. We do the best we can with what we’ve got. It’s hard work, and the sun is hot, but we’ve been doing this all our lives. We just keep going.
