We are based out of Gat No 134 here in Wangi Kh, which is in the Sillod area of Aurangabad. It is mostly just a group of us who came together to manage the farming stuff better. Life around here revolves around the seasons and what we can get out of the ground. Swargiy Baburaoji Kale Farmer Producer Company Limited started because we needed a way to handle our produce without getting lost in the shuffle of the bigger markets. Some days are long, especially when the rains don't come when they are supposed to, or when they come all at once. We spend a lot of time out in the fields or sitting around the office talking about seeds and prices. It isn't a fancy setup. It is just a building where we keep our records and meet up. Most people in the village know where we are. We deal with whatever crops are growing that season. It is a lot of hard work, and sometimes things don't go exactly as planned, but that is just how farming is. We try to keep things moving and make sure everyone gets a fair shake. There are always chores to do and decisions to make about which fertilizers to use or when to start the harvest. We just take it one day at a time here in Aurangabad. It is a quiet life for the most part, focused on the land and the crops we grow.
