It’s a bit of a trek to get out to Ranjangaon Khurd, but that’s where you’ll find us on Wakadi Ganeshnagar Road. This part of Ahmednagar is mostly open land and farms, so the school stands out a bit. We’ve got the classrooms set up along the main hallway, and it gets pretty bright when the sun comes up. We spend a lot of time just keeping the place tidy because the wind blows a lot of dirt around from the nearby fields. The students come in from all the small villages around here. Some walk, some take the bus, and some get dropped off on bikes. It’s a simple setup. We have a playground that’s mostly just flat ground with a few goalposts. Nothing too elaborate. The staff sits in a small room near the entrance where we keep all the records and files in metal cupboards. It can get quite hot in the summer months, so we keep the fans going all day long. People in the neighborhood usually stop by if they need to talk to someone, and we’re generally around even after the kids go home. We don't have a glossy brochure or anything like that. We just do the work every day, teach the classes, and watch the kids grow up. It’s a quiet life out here on the edge of the town, and we like it that way. Most days are the same, just keeping the schedule.
