Indian Public School

Indian Public School is situated at Gat No. 36/1, right at the IPS Corner on Kandalgaon-Antroli Road. This part of Solapur is a bit more open, so we get a lot of breeze coming across the fields. The school is located a little ways out, which makes it a quiet place for the students to focus. We have a simple gate and a dirt path that leads up to the main entrance. Most of us who work here have been with the school for a long time. We know which desks wobble and which doors creak when the wind blows. It’s a practical place. We don't use a lot of big words or fancy marketing to get people to come here. The parents in Kandalgaon just know us through word of mouth. We spend our days teaching the basics and making sure the kids are behaving themselves. The playground is a bit dusty, but the children don’t seem to mind when they are playing cricket or tag during their breaks. We have a small office where we keep all the records in big paper files. It’s not a high-tech operation, but it works for us and the families who send their children here. We are just a local school doing our part on the road between Kandalgaon and Antroli. Every day is pretty much the same, with the morning bell and the afternoon rush home.
