M G Vithalrao Vidyalay is out here on the Ambajogai Road in Latur, right in the Borwati area. It is a pretty straightforward place with a lot of history tied to this specific spot. The morning starts early when the sun is just coming up over the road. We spend a lot of time just keeping the place running. The benches are a bit old and the walls could probably use a new coat of paint, but they hold up well enough for the students. People in Borwati know us because their kids have been coming here for a long time. It gets very busy during the exam season, with everyone rushing around and trying to find extra pens or paper. The main gate is usually where you see parents standing around talking while they wait for the bell to ring at the end of the day. It’s a loud place, especially during the breaks when everyone is out in the corridors. We don’t have much in the way of big equipment, but we have enough books and enough space for everyone to sit. The office is always cluttered with registers and old files that go back years. You can hear the traffic from the road most of the time, but after a while, you just stop noticing it. It’s just a regular school doing what schools do in this part of Latur, keeping things moving day by day.
